چکیده

Generalized quantum measurements identifying nonorthogonal states without ambiguity often play an indispensable role in various applications. For such unambiguous state-discrimination scenario, we have a finite probability of obtaining inconclusive results and minimizing the is particular importance. In this paper, experimentally demonstrate adaptive generalized measurement that can unambiguously discriminate quaternary phase-shift-keying coherent with near-optimal performance. Our scheme composed displacement operations, single-photon detections control displacements dependent on history photon-detection outcomes. experimental show clear improvement both conclusive ratio erroneous decision caused by unavoidable imperfections over conventional static measurements.2 MoreReceived 9 September 2020Revised 10 March 2021Accepted 25 2021DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PRXQuantum.2.020305Published American Physical Society under terms Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. Quasi-unambiguous state discrimination for coherent states with phase fluctuation

This paper describes unambiguous state discrimination (USD) for a sequence of coherent states with fluctuating phase, while considering eavesdropping against differential-phase-shift quantum key distribution systems. A measurement system extracts a fraction of the incoming signal of coherent states, estimates the carrier phase from that fraction, and then conducts a USD measurement on the main ...

Adaptive generalized space shift keying

In this article, we propose a closed-loop precoding method for the Generalized Space Shift Keying (GSSK) modulation scheme, suitable for Multiple-Input-Single-Output (MISO) systems and denoted as adaptive GSSK (AGSSK), which achieves transmit-diversity gains in contrast to GSSK. For the case of a perfect feedback channel, we analytically show that for three and four antennas at the transmitter ...

Adaptive beamforming for binary phase shift keying communication systems

The paper revisits adaptive beamforming assisted receiver for multiple antenna aided multiuser systems that employ binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation. The standard minimum mean square error (MMSE) design is based on the criterion of minimising the mean square error (MSE) between the beamformer’s desired output and complex-valued beamformer’s output. Since the desired output for BPSK sy...

Twisted Amplitude Phase Shift Keying

Several modulation techniques are defined in digital modulation, Here we are discussing about in four modulation techniques,8-PSK,8-TAPSK,16TAPSK and 16-QAM. In the paper we derive minimum non coherent distance(dnc)of block coded TAPSK and compare it with different modulation techniques, i.e. 8-PSK and 16-QAM using linear component codes. If the block length N is very small.NBC-16-TAPSK perform...
